I have loved Ranavat Botanics since its launch and find that this brand’s products are always staples in my beauty routine. I repurchase them again and again! When Michelle announced that she was launching a new product, I was nothing less than ecstatic. Rooted in Ayurveda and using ethically-sourced ingredients, the Luminous Ceremony Cream Cleanser is a completely luxurious experience. On to the details!
Performance: Truth be told, while many of you know I’m a big fan of Ranavat Botanics, I didn’t know what to expect with a cream cleanser. My oily combo skin tends to like foam cleansers, and I’ve never been a fan of creams or balms (the few that I’ve tried). I decided to give this product a shot because as the years as passing by, the more and more moisture it craves. I usually wash my face with just water in the mornings, so I’ve been using this at night as a second cleanse. I use a quarter-sized amount, which seems to be a perfect fit for me. The cream is rich but not heavy. I massage the cream into my skin, adding a little water to emulsify the product. It rinses clean and leaves my face feeling hydrated post wash.
I still use a foam cleanser or micellar cleanser when I have a full face of makeup and prefer this as a second cleanse; some oiled-based makeup tends to be stubborn with this cleanser. Heads up that this product is featured in this month’s Beauty Heroes box if you are interested in trying it!
Scent Profile: It’s difficult to capture, but this product has a non-traditional rose scent; it’s something like an earthy rose that isn’t saccharin. It reminds me of something an old Hollywood starlet would have on her vanity. It washes clean and dissipates within 10-20 minutes.
Packaging: Beautifully printed cardboard packaging outer and a stunning dusty rose aluminum tube
