Why You’ll Love Odacité’s Bioactive Rose Gommage

I recently had the pleasure of winning a generous giveaway from Odacité. Their newest product, the Bioactive Rose Gommage, quickly found its way to my doorstep, and I was overwhelmed with excitement.

Performance

Simply put (and at the risk of sounding trite), I loveeeee it. A French spa favorite, a gommage is a resurfacing treatment that erases dead skin. I quickly reached out to the Odacité team to ask about the frequency of use, and they recommended using it 1-3 times a week or as needed. To that end, the size of the product is large enough to last for several months when used 1-3 times a week.

It took a bit of trial and error to get it “right.” At first, I waited too long for the product to dry and had a hard time rolling it off. The second time, I didn’t wait long enough and was gleefully spreading goo all over my face. The sweet spot was around 10 minutes of dry time for my oily/combo skin.

When I finally got the hang of it, I couldn’t stop using it! The moment I successfully peeled the product off my skin, I didn’t immediately notice much of a difference. Once I washed and dried my face, however, I was shocked at how soft my skin felt! For being such a gentle product, it delivers amazing results.

This isn’t just a product, it’s an experience. An experience unlike any other product I’ve tried. I would 100% purchase this in the future!

This product, as its name suggests, smells distinctly of rose.

Packaging

Sprinkled gingerly with soft pink dried rose petals, the beautifully packaged box included the Bioactive Rose Gommage, a stunningly soft skincare brush, and an impossibly luxe silk headband. The item itself is made of plastic and has a pump style delivery of product. Glass always feels more luxe to me, but I’m surprised at how luxe this packaging feels in plastic. With that said, I’m not thrilled that I’m adding another plastic dispenser to my routine.

Since this is a unique plastic pump dispenser, I’m going to send this package to Terracycle when empty.
