Ere Perez Eyeshadow Palette: Splurge or Skip?

Having zero eyeshadow palettes in my makeup bag, I was thrilled to find this one by Ere Perez on sale at Pharmaca. Truth be told, I’m not very skilled with eyeshadow, so I picked a palette with soft, neutral tones. I absolutely LOVE the Ere Perez Avocado Mascara and was hoping to feel the same about their eyeshadows.

An Australian brand whose philosophy centers on supplying healthy, natural makeup, Ere Perez’s products are cruelty-free, vegan, and many of their products are carbon neutral. This palette, in Pretty, offers 6 shades (2 matte and 4 shimmer) in warm tones. It also comes in Beautiful, Gorgeous, and Lovely. Colors can be worn alone or blended. Let’s get to the details!

Performance

Pros

• Sleek, easy-to-clean packaging
• Refillable shadows
• Gorgeous, easy-to-blend colors
• Decent color payoff when applied wet, with a brush
• Great for everyday wear
• Does not crease

Cons

• Not enough color payoff on my deep skin tone
• Doesn’t work well with fingers
• The colors read differently on my skin than expected
• Some colors have more fallout than others
• Some colors are harder to pick up than others

Swatches

Scent Profile

No discernable scent.

Packaging

Recyclable white outer cardboard packaging with white plastic palette. Individual eyeshadows colors are refillable, making the palette reusable but not zero waste.

Ingredients

Native rice (oryza sativa) starch, mica, zinc stearate, capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer, triheptanoin, chamomile (matricaria recutita) oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), potassium sorbate. May contain: +/- iron oxides, CI77891, CI 77007.

Price

$36.00 USD

This product performed marginally well for me. That said, while I’m committed to finishing up this palette, I probably wouldn’t repurchase it.
